Today’s NYT Spelling Bee Answers and Solver

If one missing word is keeping you from Genius or Queen Bee, this NYT Spelling Bee solver can help. Enter the yellow center letter and the six letters around it, then select Find Spelling Bee Answers. The tool checks every candidate against the rules, marks each pangram, calculates its score, and groups the answers by length.

The current daily puzzle is already loaded when its verified answer key matches the date in New York. You can also replace the letters to solve yesterday’s puzzle, an archived hive, or another Spelling Bee-style game.

1

Enter the center letter

Type the letter shown in the yellow tile. Every valid answer must contain it at least once.

2

Add the outer letters

Enter the other six letters in any order. Each of the seven letters must be different.

3

Find words and pangrams

Search, sort, copy, or reveal the pangram gradually if you only want a small hint.

How the Spelling Bee solver works

This is not a standard anagram solver. An anagram tool normally treats each letter as a tile that can be used once. Spelling Bee allows letters to repeat, so the solver uses three different checks: a word must have at least four letters, it must include the center letter, and every character must belong to the seven-letter hive. A pangram passes those checks and uses all seven letters at least once.

How to find more Spelling Bee words

  • Shuffle the hive. A new arrangement makes familiar prefixes and endings easier to notice.
  • Start with the center. Build short combinations around the required letter before looking for longer answers.
  • Try repeated letters. A letter can appear more than once, even though it appears only once in the hive.
  • Look for word families. After finding one answer, test related forms that use only the available letters.
  • Save the pangram for a hint. Reveal it one letter at a time before opening the complete answer list.

NYT Spelling Bee Solver FAQ

What is today’s NYT Spelling Bee pangram?

Use the pangram panel above to reveal one letter at a time or display the complete pangram. A pangram uses all seven letters in the hive at least once.

Can letters repeat in Spelling Bee?

Yes. You may reuse any of the seven letters as often as needed, but every answer must contain the center letter.

How many letters must a Spelling Bee answer have?

A valid answer must contain at least four letters. Three-letter words and shorter words do not score.

What is a perfect pangram?

A perfect pangram uses every one of the seven hive letters exactly once. An ordinary pangram may repeat one or more letters.

Why might the solver show a word the NYT rejects?

For custom letter sets, the solver checks a broad English word-game dictionary. The NYT uses an edited answer list and may exclude a word that appears in a larger dictionary.

Does this work with old Spelling Bee puzzles?

Yes. Replace the preloaded letters with the center and outer letters from an older puzzle, then run the solver.

Is this solver affiliated with The New York Times?
